Intelligent Nano-Optics Group

This group spearheads the development of advanced nanofabrication and multi-dimensional printing technologies to address the frontier challenges for light-matter interactions. Our research interests have spanned the fields of flat optics, tunable metasurfaces, nonlinear optics, 3D photonic crystals, etc. The team has built up capabilities of we have established capabilities for making 2D and 3D nanostructures via advanced nanoprinting technologies, including two-photon polymerization lithography (TPL) and nanoimprint lithography (NIL). Currently, this group is developing large area fabrication of flat optics via NIL under A*STAR MTC Programmatic Fund. In addition, we are developing a platform technology by integrating emerging materials such as low dimensional materials, phase change materials, stimuli-responsive materials into optical subwavelength structures to realize dynamically tunable 2D and 3D photonic crystals towards perfect control of light.
