The Precision Engineering Workforce Skills Qualifications (PE WSQ) Graduate Diploma in Mechatronics is designed to train participants in applying multi-disciplinary and integrated approaches to design. This would help them develop high-end, value-added industrial equipments and products such as precision machining tools, semiconductor equipment, as well as measurement and optical instruments. The course consists of five modules conducted over a series of lectures, hands-on practical training, and case studies by SIMTech researchers with comprehensive industrial experiences. It provides participants with the unique opportunity to learn and apply the competencies for increasing accuracy, throughput, and functionality in equipment and product design.
This course is targeted at industrial engineers, supervisors, managers, researchers, and technicians in the precision engineering, aerospace, optics, and semiconductor industries.
Participants will be awarded the Graduate Diploma after successfully completing five modules (four core units and one elective unit). Alternatively, participants will be awarded a WSQ Statement of Attainment electronic certificate (e-Cert) for passing any individual module of their choice. Visit here for more information about the e-Cert.
