Seminar on Microwave Measurement and its Assurance


Measurement assurance is important to ensure high quality and productivity in product design and manufacturing. This seminar will include several technical presentations on microwave  measurement and a microwave instrument exhibition.

The National Metrology Centre (NMC) will conduct a proficiency test (PT) on RF power measurement to improve the measurement capability and confidence of accredited calibration laboratories, R&D laboratories, testing laboratories and  in-house calibration laboratories. The PT will allow various laboratories to compare their RF/microwave power measurement results with the reference values provided by NMC, with traceability to the primary standards. This seminar will also include a briefing session for the laboratories participating in the PT  for RF power measurement at 50 MHz.
