Humidity Measurements: Principle, Standards, Calibrations and Applications

[Course Brochure][Registration Form]

Course Outline

This course will introduce humidity measurement from basic knowledge to applications and provide hands on in handling/calibrating hygrometers. The course covers:

  • Basic concept, terms and definitions for humidity measurement,
  • Method of humidity measurement such as absolute and relative measurements,
  • Different types of hygrometers,
  • Standards in humidity generation and measurement,
  • Calibration of various type of hygrometers, their uncertainty analysis, and interpretation of report,
  • Selection of hygrometers for different application cases.

Course Instructors

Dr Wang Li  is a principal metrologist in the Temperature Laboratory in NMC. She has more than 20 years of experiences in humidity metrology. She has provided trainings both in Singapore and overseas. Dr Wang Li received her education in China and Italy.
