Suresh Anand SADANANTHAN
Suresh Anand Sadananthan is a Research Fellow in Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy and Metabolic Imaging (MRS-MI) group (part of Growth, Development and Metabolism (GDM) program) at Singapore Institute for Clinical Sciences (SICS) since Jan 2010. He completed his Ph.D. in Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore in Dec 2009 where he worked on medical image analysis. He developed algorithms based on graph theoretic framework for the segmentation of MR brain and abdomen images. He also has experience working on aerial image processing and computer vision.
His research interests are in the development and implementation of new techniques based on MR imaging (MRI) and spectroscopy (MRS) to investigate and understand fat metabolism in adults and children. He is also interested in developing image processing algorithms for the segmentation of MR images.
