Network of Immunology Frontiers (NIF) Winter School on Advanced Immunology

The NIF Winter School on Advanced Immunology was established in 2011 by members of Singapore Immunology Network (SIgN) and the Osaka University Immunology Frontier Research Center (IFReC). NIF provides an opportunity for 50 selected international PhD students and young postdoctoral researchers to meet with a Faculty of 20 world-class experts and explore networking and learning in Asia. Lectures will be given by leading immunologists on a wide range of topics and the format of the school will facilitate the exchange of ideas and establishment of networking opportunities for all participants. The school is held every year in January, alternating between Singapore and Japan.

NIF aims to become a major international focal point in the immunology arena in Asia and to foster a new generation of scientists who will lead and challenge the boundaries of immunological science.

We welcome students and early postdoctoral researchers who have a strong interest in immunology to participate in the school. The selection process is highly competitive and we expect all participants to be motivated to actively engage in all the activities during the five-day intensive programme.
