Platform Technology on Large Format 3D Printing with Laser Aided Additive Manufacturing (LAAM)
The LAAM technology utilises high energy laser beam for material deposition which enables 3D additive manufacturing, surface modification and repair with high flexibility. LAAM can achieve good mechanical properties, wear and corrosion resistance. The adoption of this technology allows companies to explore new applications and business opportunities.

Platform Technology on Protective Coating Technologies against Wear and Corrosion
This CIP is to develop and apply advanced surface coating processes such as Physical Vapour Deposition, Thermal Spray, Electrochemical, Anodizing, Electroplating, or Conversion Coatings, including corrosion assessment and analysis to create new surface protection solutions that are more cost effective, as well as increasing productivity and/or to improve protective performance pertaining to surface quality and morphology.

Platform Technology on SIMTech Scalable Mobile Platform (SMP) Programme
SIMTech Scalable Mobile Platform (SMP), with powered cater wheels features, enables the development of customised mobile platform to suit different needs. SMP, together with the control software, can realize high mobility critical for easy manoeuvring in cramped spaces and for effective docking.

Platform Technology on SIMTech SECS/GEM in High Speed Message Service
Manufacturers require their plant manufacturing equipment to communicate using the SECS/GEM connectivity standards.  
SIMTech SECS/GEM in HSMS-SS (High Speed Message Service – Single Session) is the software platform that enables any equipment with SECS/GEM to perform data communication between Host and equipment over TCP line. This is done by utilising both the configurable lookup table and socket base messages services.
