The half-day tutorial will cover the fundamentals of gun drilling design, cutting parameters, damping system and some of the potential defects, abnormalities and deviations that can be observed. These defects will be further exaggerated if the diameter to depth aspects ratio is further increase – particularly if noble and exotic material such as Inconel 718, Incoloy, K-Monel and non-magenetic material are use.
