It is apparent that Lean Production or Lean Manufacturing is the best way forward in improving the competitiveness and performance of companies. This is evident from the numerous Lean implementations undertaken by many companies in recent years, which yielded some tangible performance improvement. However, it is noted that most of these companies had only adopted a small subset of the tools and concepts propounded and there is an obvious lack of a clear roadmap for implementation as well as the management of this change process. This workshop is an introduction to Lean Implementation Planning. The two introductory sessions on Lean Management and Value Stream Mapping are conducted to provide the attendees with the required knowledge necessary to lead your companies through the Lean Transformation Process.
