Planning and scheduling have been widely researched for many decades. While many hard-to-solve problems remain unresolved, new challenges continue to arise in response to emerging business practices and requirements. Co-organised by the Singapore Management University (SMU), this workshop provides a forum to discuss latest research findings and development results. Leading researchers from Singapore Management University (SMU), Singapore Institute of Manufacturing Technology (SIMTech), and Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) will present an update on their latest work in addressing complex issues relating to uncertainty in scheduling, distributed planning and scheduling, and high-mix low-volume manufacturing scheduling.
