Seminar on Security in RFID Technology and Applications

Date: 01 Aug 2008 - 01 Aug 2008

Venue: Auditorium, Level 3, Tower Block

Introduction
The prevalence of RFID technology has increased in recent years as it presents opportunities for cost reduction, process innovation, efficiency generation, and service improvement. RFID practitioners are willing to deploy RFID technology into various applications effectively and efficiently. But the security and privacy issues with RFID technology are not well addressed yet, which may render the RFID deployments in insecure situations. It is pertinent that the security of RFID systems must be designed beforehand to avoid disastrous breaches at a later time. This seminar brings together a diversity of RFID researchers to share with you on some interesting research topics on RFID Security.
