Towards B2B Collaboration Excellence in Supply Chain

Date: 16 Nov 2006 - 16 Nov 2006

Venue: Auditorium, Tower Block, SIMTech, 71 Nanyang Drive

Introduction

Singapore’s 10-year master plan to realize the potential of infocomm, Intelligent Nation 2015 (iN2015), infocomm has been articulated as one of the key factors that is enhancing Singapore’s status as a strategic supply chain hub. MNCs are leveraging on this by choosing to establish their regional headquarters here in Singapore. They are supported by 80% of the supplier companies in the Asia Pacific region – their suppliers and partners. Facing increasing competition and constantly changing environment in today’s globalised market, it is imperative for companies to excel in B2B collaborations in their supply chains.

In this seminar, the organiser has put together a program to discuss several key issues in supply chains, including discussions on “what are the key issues that MNCs are facing in today’s B2B collaborations” and “how these issues impede/encourage the use and application of infocomm”. Correspondingly, this seminar will also look at the issues surrounding smaller companies, in particular the SMEs, in meeting the demands of such MNC customers. This seminar is targeted at local companies to foster and nurture a good-will towards excellence in B2B collaborations in support of fluctuating and changing demands of supply chains.
