IMRE-SIMTech Joint Symposium on Nano-structured Materials and Processing

The interesting physical and chemical properties of nanostructured materials are well recognised beyond the microelectronics technology. The intrinsic properties of quantum confinement effects are seen in polymetric materials, polymer nanocomposites and organic-inorganic hybrids. Significant achievements in hybrid-coating and bulk-nanostructured metals have also been made in research institutes. These materials provide unique and attractive properties such as improved thermal, mechanical and barrier properties for various applications.
Researchers at SIMTech and IMRE are jointly organising this symposium with the aim to foster closer collaboration among researchers and industries in Singapore.
