Welding Technology Forum 2013

Date: 05 Apr 2013 - 05 Apr 2013

Venue: SIMTech Auditorium, Tower Block, Level 3

Welding Technology Forum 2013

Welding is one of the most important joining processes and plays a predominant role in Singapore manufacturing industry.  SIMTech has been conducting R&D on welding technologies for 20 years. The aim of this forum is to introduce Joining Technologies Group's R&D capabilities covering arc, laser, brazing and 3D additive manufacturing. Special focus will be on introducing SIMTech's newly established solid state and highly productive Friction Stir Welding (FSW) and on-site demonstration. Dialogue with participants on the use of the welding technologies and standards will be also conducted during the forum.

This event is organised by SIMTech, PE COI in collaboration with the Singapore Welding Society (SWS).
