SIMTech is home to more than 250 research scientists and engineers who come from Asia, America, Europe and Singapore, from industry and academia of diverse disciplines. SIMTech is always on the lookout for innovative, creative, energetic and highly motivated scientists and researchers who enjoy seeking out challenges and striving for excellence.
Staff Training & Development SIMTech believes in developing staff to their fullest potential, and we invest heavily in the training of our researchers. Through a comprehensive training curriculum, from courses on presentation skills to project management, and seminars on intellectual property and patents, researchers will hone both their technical and soft skills. Training is delivered in a number of ways - on-the-job, through mentorship, or in a classroom setting.
All fresh graduates will be placed under the mentorship of an experienced researcher for up to 2 years. The mentor will provide coaching, support and direction for the new staff, to help them assimilate easily into the SIMTech culture.
Industry Attachments Researchers can look forward to short-term attachments to local companies to help boost their research capabilities. There may be opportunities to work with local/overseas Research Institutes.
If you have a 'fire-in-the-belly' passion for research and wish to make an impact in the development of science and technology in Singapore, we welcome you to our vibrant, innovative and culturally-diversified environment!
SIMTech offers a competitive and comprehensive remuneration package to each new staff who joins us. For expatriate research staff, you may be eligible for other benefits like housing subsidy, settling-in allowance, passage assistance, etc.
The level of appointment and remuneration will commensurate with qualifications and experience.
