Introduction:

Ms Qian Min is working on functional coatings for multi-purpose industrial applications. Her development work focuses on the chemistry and use of sol gel/polymeric materials. She received her Master of Engineering from National University of Singapore. She worked as a Research / Materials Engineer for two local companies on water reclamation, analysis and materials characterisations. Her academic experience includes catalyst synthesis and characterisation work at Fudan University (China) and National University of Singapore.

 

 

Research Interest:

Application of sol gel and polymeric materials as functional coatings of Ultra-Violet protection, water repellency, easy-clean and anti-microbial properties on multiple surfaces, the development of coating material formulations, application processes and characterisations.
