Introduction:Mr Wang Feng Yu has over 14 years experience in the area of operation management (OM), and actively involves in OM-oriented industry and research projects. In last 5 years, he led and took part in a total of 18 industry projects for the improvements of operation productivity, planning process and business process; he also visited more than 100 local based companies through various industrial collaborations for understanding the operation management issues that industries are facing. The customers are across multiple industry sectors such as construction, maritime, aerospace MRO, precision engineering, medtech, automotive and etc.. Mr. Wang’s research interest currently is on operational decision making in MTS-MTO combination systems, which contain both make-to-stock (MTS) and make-to-order (MTO) features, to support postponement strategy in supply chains. His key capability / skills include system analysis and modeling, lean technologies like VSM (Value Stream Mapping), optimization tools and Operation Research (OR) technologies such as linear programming, dynamic programming, and simulation.
Research Interest:Operation Management oriented research, mainly in the areas of decision making, supply chain planning, inventory management and production control, lean, and business process re-engineering.
