Introduction:Dr Florencia Edith Wiria specialises in additive manufacturing, materials processing and characterisation. Dr Wiria joined SIMTech in April 2007 and has worked on various research projects, such as recycling process of advanced ceramic materials, 3D printing of metallic, biocomposite and bioceramic materials, as well as laminating of flexible electroluminescent devices. She was seconded to Bio-Scaffold International Pte Ltd in Technology, working on process improvement of biomedical scaffold pre-fabrication. Dr Wiria has also supervised several post-graduate and undergraduate students for additive manufacturing research projects.
