Dr He Wei is a Research Scientist in the Electro-Chemical Team, Surface Technology Group at SIMTech in Singapore. His research career started from University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) on inorganic nano-crystal synthesis. His PhD study focused on the surface modification for development for molecular computing in University of Notre Dame. His post-doc work involves studies on dye sensitised solar cell and heterogeneous bi-metallic catalysis. In SIMTech, his research fields involve sub-wavelength meta-materials, micro/nano structuring, advanced cleaning technology, micro/nano filtration for water treatment and solvent recovery, and human thermal management. He has obtained funds from AME IRG-2016 ($0.75 M, 2017-2020) and GSK-EDB Trust Fund-2016 ($1.2M, 2016-2019) as Principal Investigator and Co-Investigator, respectively, with collaboration from National University of Singapore (NUS) and National University Hospital (NUH).
