Dr Danno worked at Toyota Central R&D Labs., Inc. (Aichi, Japan) from 1946 to 2002, and as director and board member of TCRDL from 1995 to 2001, he engaged in R&D on new bulk metal forming technology for automotive components: (1) rotary forming (stepped shafts and gears), cold/warm forging; (2) processing special metals (Ti-alloy, Cu-alloy, stainless steel).
Since joining SIMTech in 2003, Dr Danno, as a senior scientist and a senior PE COI consultant, has been working in R&D on metal forming technology such as spin forming, combined sheet & bulk forming and consultation on metal forming.
