SIMTech collaborates with 10 local firms to enhance digital transformation in manufacturing industry

The 10th Manufacturing Productivity Technology Centre (MPTC) Conference 2022 was held on 14 April! Guest-of-Honour Mr Alvin Tan, Minister of State, Ministry of Trade and Industry graced the event and witnessed the Smart Engineering System @ Model Factory signing ceremony between SIMTech and 10 partner companies, a formalisation of our industry collaboration to enhance vital digital transformation of the manufacturing industry to be economically resilient.
Partners Recognition Awards were presented to 14 partner companies who have adopted more than one of SIMTech’s technologies and experienced an average productivity growth of over 20%. 5 system integrators who have worked alongside us over the years in licensing and implementing SIMTech’s manufacturing digitalisation technologies were also recognised through Technology Partners Awards.
The MPTC Conference is organised to share best practices and technologies on manufacturing digitalisation with industry. The 10th MPTC Conference was themed “Digital Innovation for the New Normal”, and showcased Singapore’s holistic approach in translating research outcomes to useful technologies for industry. Keynote and industry presentations included Breakthroughs in Tackling Digital Transformation Challenges Faced by SMEs by iPlast, Smart & Sustainable Factory by BCG, and Leveraging Smart Factory to Manage Rising Inflation by InnoArk.
