Mr Ng Wai Choong
Deputy Secretary (Policy)
Ministry of Finance

Ng Wai Choong is currently the Deputy Secretary (Policy) in the Ministry of Finance in Singapore.

Previously, Wai Choong served as the Deputy Secretary (Industry) in the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI) and also as Director (Strategic Planning) in the Ministry of National Development (MND). 

He is also a board member of the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) and the Singapore Totalisator Board, besides A*STAR.

Wai Choong was conferred the Public Administration Medal (Silver) at the National Day Awards 2006.
 
Wai Choong obtained a Bachelor of Economics degree from the University of Tokyo in 1990. He also attended the Harvard Business School's Program for Management Development in 2001.
