Mr Tadahiro Matsushita- Senior Vice Minister of the Ministry of Economy- Trade and Industry (METI)- Japan visited A*STAR on 6 October 2011. He was accompanied by a delegation of 9 representatives from METI. The delegation was hosted by Ms Tricia Huang (Director- Biomedical Research Council) and Ms Emily Liew (Deputy Director- Policy and Planning Department). The delegation had a warm discussion about Singapore’s budget framework and local talent development programmes for research and development.
