Mr Ravinder Singh is Group Chief Operating Officer (COO), Technology & Innovation, and President, Defence & Public Security, of ST Engineering.

Appointed on 1 January 2021, as Group COO, Mr Singh oversees the development of multi-domain technologies, and business innovation across the Group.

As President of Defence & Public Security, he leads the Group’s businesses across Digital Systems, Cyber, Land Systems, Marine and Defence Aerospace, driving the development of products and solutions for Defence, Public Safety and Security and Critical Information Infrastructure (CII) customers.

Mr Singh previously served as President of ST Engineering's Electronics sector and spearheaded the development of technologies and solutions for connected, secure and sustainable cities. Concurrently, he oversaw the Group’s defence products, services and solutions in his role as President, Defence Business. Prior to that, he served as President of the Group’s Land Systems sector and grew its defence and specialty vehicle businesses.

Before Mr Singh joined ST Engineering, he was with the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) for 36 years, where he last served as Chief of Army. Prior to that, he was Deputy Secretary (Technology) in the Ministry of Defence.

Mr Singh is the Chairman for ST Engineering Satellite Systems and ST Engineering Geo-Insights, and Singapore Airshow & Event and Experia Events. He is a board member and Executive Committee of the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR) and Board of Trustee of Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT). He is also a board member of DSO National Laboratories, and the Temasek Defence Systems Institute Management Board of National University of Singapore, the independent review panel of Ministry of Home Affairs and the Data Protection Appeal Panel for Ministry for Communications and Information Singapore. Mr Singh holds a Bachelor of Arts in Engineering Science (First Class Honours) and a Master of Arts in Engineering Science from the University of Oxford.
