Health and Longevity: The Next Wave of Innovation

A*STAR Global Network (A*GN) was pleased to support Health and Longevity: The Next Wave of Innovation, a dialogue session jointly organised by the EDB Society and Temasek Alumni Network on 29 July 2026.

Bringing together leaders across healthcare, research, government and investment, the event explored developments shaping the future of health, ageing, longevity, and innovation.

The programme featured a fireside chat with Professor Tan Chorh Chuan, Chairman of A*STAR, Permanent Secretary for National Research and Development and Public Sector Science and Technology Policy and Plans Office in the Prime Minister's Office, and Chairman of the MOH Office for Healthcare Transformation, moderated by Dr Fidah Alsagoff, Chairman of Clavystbio.

A panel discussion followed, featuring Dr. Cheong Wei Yang, Vice Provost (Strategic Research Partnerships), Singapore Management University; Professor Ng Wai Hoe, Group Chief Executive Officer of SingHealth; and Mr Ganen Sarvananthan, Managing Partner, Co-Head of Asia and Head of the Middle East at TPG. The discussion was moderated by Dr Kim Png, Partner at Novo Holdings Asia and an A*STAR alumna.

Supported by A*GN, the event provided a platform for meaningful dialogue and networking among professionals from Singapore's healthcare, research, investment, and innovation communities, strengthening connections across sectors and fostering opportunities for future collaboration.
