About BRICE

BRICE (Battery Remanufacturing for Improved Circular Ecosystem) is a government-funded programme led by A*STAR, dedicated to developing innovative, end-to-end remanufacturing solutions for retired lithium-ion batteries (LiBs).

Our goal is to:

• Establish Singapore as a regional leader in end-of-life (EOL) battery technologies and circular economy innovation.
• Enable a sustainable and productive local battery ecosystem that can scale regionally.

Through smart disassembly, accurate diagnostics, and advanced rejuvenation techniques, we unlock the second-life potential of batteries—supporting the transition to greener energy systems while promoting responsible battery waste management.
