Research Capabilities and Focus Areas
The Singapore Aerospace Programme seeks to develop technological solutions for the consortium members, to pre-position them to enhance their products and service offerings. Due to the diverse interests of the consortium members, the scope of the research undertaken are multi-faceted and broad. The Singapore Aerospace Programme leverages the wide spectrum of capabilities in the A*STAR Science and Engineering Research Council (SERC) Research Institutes as well as partners in Singapore’s institutes of higher learning.

Industrial Internet of Things, Data Analytics, Augmented/Virtual Reality and Artificial Intelligence
Modelling & Simulation, Material Characterisation, New Composites and Functional Coating
New NDI/NDT techniques for metal and composite materials
Aerodynamics CFD, Avionics, IFE, Networking & Communications
Other Emerging Areas
Aircraft Electrification (systems modelling, battery management system, etc.)
