    Official Opening of Feinmetall Singapore

    On 28 June 2017- Feinmetall Singapore- a long-time SME collaborator- unveiled its digital manufacturing facility. The opening was graced by Mr S Iswaran- Minister for Trade and Industry (Industry). The new facility taps on technology solutions under the Model Factory@SIMTech initiative- such as the Overall Equipment Effectiveness Monitoring System (OEEMS) and Maintenance Management System (MMS). The company has also worked with A*STAR through other platforms since 2008- such as the T-Up initiative whereby A*STAR researchers are seconded to companies to support their R&D development- as well as the Operation and Technology Roadmapping (OTR) initiative for strategic planning.
