A*STAR Managing Director as Guest-of-Honour at the EURAXESS CONNECT Network Event

Dr Raj Thampuran was the Guest-of-Honour at the EURAXESS CONNECT Network Event  held at the Genexis Theatre in Fusionopolis on 5 April 2013.  Both Dr Raj and His Excellency Marc Ungheuer- Head of the European Union Delegation to Singapore- welcomed the participants mainly from the Singapore research community.   Professor Bertil Andersson- President of Nanyang Technological University then delivered the keynote speech on “Globalisation- Mobility and Networks”- the theme of the event.   EURAXESS is a portal that links researchers between EU and ASEAN providing a platform for information exchange.  It facilitate research collaborations- job searches and updates on the latest from the research communities from both regions.  Membership is free and is open to all.  EURAXESS can be found at - http://ec.europa.eu/euraxess/
