A 7-member delegation from the Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) led by their President & CEO- Johnny C. Taylor- Jr- visited A*STAR on 1 April 2011. The delegation was in Singapore to learn more about Science- Technology- Engineering- and Mathematics (STEM) education in Singapore. The delegation was hosted Mr Teoh Yong Sea- Deputy Managing Director- A*STAR and had a good discussion about A*STAR’s youth outreach programmes- the Singapore International Pre-Graduate / Graduate Award (SIPGA/SINGA) programmes- as well as research attachment opportunities in A*STAR for students from TMCF member universities.
