Visit by Dr Michiharu Nakamura, President of the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST)

The new president of the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST)- Dr Michiharu Nakamura- made his introductory visit to A*STAR on the morning of 21 February 2012.  His visit was hosted by A*STAR Managing Director Prof Low Teck Seng and both held discussions on ways to deepen bilateral co-operations.  A*STAR is currently on the Strategic International Cooperation Programme (SICP) partnering JST in research for physical materials and devices- and bioelectronics.  Dr Nakamura was accompanied by Akira Nakanishi- Director of International Affairs and Director of JST Singapore Office.
