    Lord Mayor of Stuttgart Dr Wolfgang Schuster led a 17-member delegation visited A*STAR on Monday 12 Nov 2012.  Also in the delegation was Rector of Stuttgart university Prof Wolfram Ressel.  The delegation was hosted by Prof Lye Kin Mun- Deputy Executive Director of the Science and Engineering Research Council and representatives from selected A*STAR Research Institutes.  Both sides exchanged candid views on S&T development in their respective countries.  A*STAR noted Stuttgart’s strength in automotive industry and welcomed the opportunity to work with German institutions there.
