    Visit by Mr Pekka Soini- Director General and Chief Executive Officer- Tekes- Finland

    Deputy Managing Director Mr Suresh Sachi hosted Mr Pekka Soini- DG and CEO of Tekes Finland during his introductory visit to A*STAR.  Mr Soini was given an overview of A*STAR and apprised of the recent science and technology developments in Singapore.  A*STAR Chairman led a delegation visited Tekes in Helsinki recently as part of the benchmarking study trip.  Both public-funded research organisations shared many similar objectives and was able to share insights on the challenges implementing national R&D policies.
