Visit by Nanjing Party Secretary Mr Yang Weize

Nanjing Party Secretary Mr Yang Weize (6th from right)

Nanjing Party Secretary Mr Yang Weize and Vice Mayor Mr Zheng Zeguang led a 54-member study delegation visited A*STAR in Fusionopolis- hosted by Dr Lim Khiang Wee- Executive Director of the A*STAR Graduate Academy. The delegation was on a study trip in Singapore organised by IESingapore and was interested to learn more about talent development and technology commercialisation in Singapore. Nanjing had developed rapidly recently and it was reported that it now spends about 3% of its GDP at provincial level on R&D. After the discussion- the delegation took in the view of one-north from the sky garden and toured one-north gallery hosted by JTC.
