    Visit by New Zealand Minister for Science and Innovation The Honourable Steven Joyce

    The Honourable Steven Joyce- New Zealand Minister for Science and Innovation visited A*STAR  on 2 July 2012.  He was accompanied by the New Zealand High Commissioner H.E. Peter Hamilton- Chief Executive Officer of the Ministry of Science and Innovation- Mr Murray Bain- and the Chief Scientific Advisor to the New Zealand Prime Minister and Programme Director of A*STAR’s Singapore Institute of Clinical Sciences- Sir Peter Gluckman.  The New Zealand delegation was given an overview on A*STAR and hosted to lunch by A*STAR Managing Director Prof Low Teck Seng.  The delegation was also given a lab tour to the Genome Institute of Singapore hosted by its Executive Director Dr Ng Huck Hui- and the Fusionopolis Skygarden.  Both sides held discussions and committed on collaborating in the area of Food and Nutrition.
