    Visit by The Right Honourable David Willetts- UK Minister for Universities and Science

    Mr Lim Chuan Poh- Chairman A*STAR- hosted the visit by The Right Honourable David Willetts- UK Minister for Universities and Science on 5 March 2014. Minister Willetts and his delegation were in Singapore to discuss on collaborative opportunities in the areas of science and education.

    While in A*STAR- Minister Willetts witnessed the official opening of the A*STAR Institute of High Performance Computing (IHPC) – Southampton Marine and Maritime Institute (SMMI) joint lab as well as the signing of A*STAR Research Attachment Programme Implementation Agreement (IA) between A*STAR and University of Manchester (UoM).
