This esteemed list, based on a single-year dataset, reviewed over 100,000 scientists across 22 scientific fields and 174 subfields. The analysis utilized data from all Scopus author profiles as of August 1, 2024, providing a comprehensive view of top-cited scientists, factoring in metrics such as citations, h-index, co-authorship adjusted hm-index, citations by authorship position, and a composite indicator (c-score).
