Celebrating IMCB's Success at SME Tech Day 2024

IMCB proudly congratulates our scientists for their remarkable achievements at SME Tech Day 2024, held on 29 October at Marina Bay Sands. Organized by A*STAR in partnership with Enterprise Singapore, SME Tech Day brought together local enterprises to explore deep tech innovations and encouraged small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to adopt cutting-edge technologies for growth and competitiveness.

During the event, Guest-of-Honour Dr. Tan See Leng, Minister for Manpower and Second Minister for Trade and Industry, highlighted the significance of robust R&D capabilities to help SMEs benefit from innovation. He emphasized the impact of the Technology for Enterprise Capability Upgrading (T-Up) programme, which has successfully seconded over 1,100 A*STAR Research Scientists and Engineers (RSEs) to more than 1,000 local enterprises over the past two decades. Through T-Up, A*STAR scientists collaborate with SMEs to drive technological advancements, boosting productivity and supporting the development of marketable solutions.
