    Digital Shot in the Arm Sharpens Competitive Edge for Abrasive Engineering

    Abrasive Engineering (AE) is a local manufacturing SME that makes sandblasting and shot peening machines, and provides such services, for the aerospace, marine, automotive and oil and gas industries in Singapore and globally.

    Since 2013, AE has collaborated with A*STAR to stay competitive for the future. It tapped on A*STAR’s Model Factory* to digitalise the shot peening process of its machines, and developed new products through co-innovation with A*STAR’s Advanced Remanufacturing and Technology Centre (ARTC), and started developing long-term growth strategies under A*STAR’s Operation & Technology Roadmap (OTR) programme^. AE is forging ahead with innovation for continued success. Let’s take a look at the ways this SME is driving innovation in its business!
