Smarter waste management for a sustainable future

Circular Unite is a Singapore sustainability start-up using data and AI to make waste management smarter and more impactful. Its platform, N.A.T.A.L.I.E., helps companies monitor waste, optimise recycling and measure carbon footprint in real time. Features like the Digital Waste Passport and Waste-to-Resource Marketplace turn waste data into actionable steps towards circularity.

The company’s development journey was supported by the A*STAR Advanced Manufacturing Startup Challenge 2023, where collaboration with A*STAR researchers helped refine and validate the platform. This recognition underscored the relevance of N.A.T.A.L.I.E. in advancing circular economy practices while giving Circular Unite the technical foundation to accelerate deployment.

Today, the Waste-to-Resource Marketplace is in closed proof-of-concept with major industry partners and is on track for commercial launch between Q4 2025 and Q1 2026. By combining A*STAR-enabled innovation with start-up execution, Circular Unite is helping businesses reduce waste and move closer to their Net Zero 2030 targets.

Harnessing urban winds for a cleaner future

Untapped Energies is unlocking the potential of overlooked urban infrastructure for renewable energy. Its Whisper Vertical Axis Wind Turbines capture wind from all directions and generate power even at low speeds, making them suitable for integration into streetlights, expressways, coastal and marine structures, and telco towers.

Developed with A*STAR, the turbines combine proprietary blade and generator designs with Internet of Things enabled monitoring, achieving high efficiency and scalability. By enabling renewable power generation directly within urban landscapes, Untapped Energies is helping cities move closer to sustainable and resilient energy futures.
