Four hours in a lab. Could there be a better way?
CareCam wanted to take clinical gait assessment beyond costly motion-capture laboratories. Dr Pahwa helped push its 3DGait technology towards a more accessible approach, closer to real-world clinical use.

AI could analyse a typical walk. But what about after a stroke?
CareCam faced a different challenge in analysing post-stroke gait. Guo Ling helped adapt its gait algorithms to recognise the altered walking patterns clinicians needed to measure.

For Genios, controlling heavy loads reliably was key to taking its technology onto construction sites. Dr Short helped improve load stability to support the technology's progression towards commercial deployment.

Neurowyzr could measure cognitive and lifestyle risks, but wanted to go beyond providing a score. Dr See helped translate its data into more actionable insights while strengthening the company's in-house AI capabilities.

What was behind a persistent component failure?
Odyssey wanted to understand the root cause of a recurring component failure in semiconductor equipment. Yu Tong helped investigate the underlying issue and identify an approach to improve the durability of repairs.

Can you predict a failing sensor or a falling tree before it happens?
STYL already had millions of sensor readings. Arjunan helped turn that data into something more powerful: early warnings of potential problems before they become failures.

AI can see and hear. But can it learn to feel?
TacnIQ had already begun teaching machines about physical interaction through touch. Dr Luo helped advance the technology for use across different people, devices and environments.
