Yiqi is working on developing gene therapy concepts that could be useful for preventive gene therapy in the future and herald in the age in which we can treat diseases before they occur through targeted and controlled gene therapy systems.

DPhil in Physiology, University of Oxford, 2010
BSC in Molecular BIology, University of Wisconsin-Madison, 2005
RESEARCH INTERESTS: genetic and molecular tinkering and is working to develop early gene therapy concepts that could be needed in the next 5-10 years.

Our projects are exploring new avenues for treatment at the forefront of therapeutic innovation, with a focus on cutting-edge methods of nucleic acid production and targeted delivery. With an eye toward the future, we are mapping out the potential trajectory of nucleic acid therapeutics in the coming decade, poised to capitalize on the rapidly evolving landscape of the field.
