Central Imaging Facility
Central Imaging Facility (CIF) is a core facility of the Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology, whose mission is to provide light microscopy equipment to support research activities of different labs from IMCB, by providing maintenance of microscopes, technical training of microscope operation, image acquisition support, along with image processing and analysis software and the expertise to facilitate research in molecular, cell and developmental biology. In addition to standard wide-field and confocal microscopy, our systems have capabilities to carry out several aspects of advanced imaging: (1) 3D imaging (2) F-techniques (3) High content imaging (4) Live-cell imaging (5) Image analysis & processing Training is provided for the use of the microscopes and software for processing and analyzing microscope images. The software available includes Zen and ImageJ/Fiji. | |
