A regional collaboration platform
co-led by PCHRD and DxD Hub.

The ASEAN Dx Initiative (ASEAN DxI) is a regional collaboration platform co-led by the Philippine Council for Health Research (PCHRD) and Singapore’s Diagnostics Development Hub (DxD Hub). It was launched in 2018 at the 18th ASEAN Ministerial Meeting on Science, Technology, and Innovation. We facilitate the co-development and adoption of healthcare diagnostics solutions for unmet clinical needs across ASEAN Member States (AMS).

Our objectives include:

  • Bridging the translational gap to develop diagnostics solutions for implementation.
  • Commercialising ASEAN-developed diagnostics products, as well as increasing accessibility around the region.
  • Supporting capacity building in AMS.
  • Improving human health and growing the healthcare industry in ASEAN.
  • Fostering a strong network within ASEAN, connecting regional stakeholders.
