About SSBBI
Inaugurated in 2007 and held annually, SSBBI (originally named Singapore Symposium on Metabolic Diseases) has been a forum to bring together world experts in the broad areas of diabetes, obesity and metabolic diseases to share their latest research findings and insights. The event also serves as a platform for the invited speakers and participants to meet and forge collaborations with local scientists. This year, the symposium will be rebranded as the Singapore Symposium on Brain-Body Interactions to reflect the significant expansion of the contents and the themes of the conference, and is co-organised by DUKE-NUS and NUS. This year’s event will comprise approximately 20 overseas speakers and 5 speakers from local research organizations. The topics to be discussed at the symposium will span basic science to clinical research and cover research topics in neuroscience, metabolism, novel technologies, and brain-body interactions.

About Neuroscience Singapore 2024
Neuroscience Singapore 2024 is the annual symposium for the Society for Neuroscience, Singapore Chapter (SfN.SG), bringing together neuroscientists across Singapore academic institutions from all domains, including biologists, psychologists, engineers, and clinicians. There will be themed sessions of short talks (invited or selected from abstracts) by both senior and early-career local scientists covering current topics such as development, degeneration, motivation, and cognition. It will also feature a poster session and other networking opportunities.
