    Adjunct Associate Professor - Dr Joey Zhou

    Congratulations to Dr. Joey Zhou on his promotion to adjunct Associate Professor at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, National University of Singapore (NUS). This promotion is a recognition of his excellent research achievements and substantive contributions to NUS. 

    Dr. Zhou is currently a Senior Scientist, Investigator and Group Manager with the A*STAR Centre for Frontier AI Research (CFAR). He received a Ph.D. degree in computer science from Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore. His current interests mainly focus on improving robustness and efficiency in machine learning tasks. 

    Dr. Zhou has organised ICDCS'20-21 workshop on Efficient AI meets Edge Computing and is currently serving as an Associate Editor for the IEEE Transactions on Emerging Topics in Computational Intelligence (TETCI), IEEE Access and IET Image Processing. He has also served as the TPC Chair in Mobimedia 2020 and received the NeurIPS Best Reviewer Award in 2017.
