Paper Acceptance at ICDM 2026
Held from 12 to 15 November in Shenyang, China, the IEEE International Conference on Data Mining (ICDM) is a premier international conference for data mining, bringing together experts from academia and industry to advance the latest developments in data mining related areas, such as big data, deep learning, pattern recognition, statistical and machine learning, databases, data warehousing, data visualisation, knowledge-based systems, high-performance computing, and large models.
Congratulations to Prof Ivor Tsang, Director, Prof Ong Yew Soon, Chief Artificial Intelligence (AI) Scientist and Advisor, Dr Li Jing, Scientist, Mr Xia Sihan, PhD Student, and Mr Zou Yuanben, former PhD Student at A*STAR CFAR, on the acceptance of their paper at ICDM 2026.
Their paper, "Domain Bridging: Enabling Adaptation without Peeking at Target Data", introduces a novel domain-bridging framework that enables model adaptation to proprietary target data using only performance feedback, without requiring direct access to the data itself. This offers a new paradigm for preserving data privacy while maintaining effective model adaptation.
