CorDx and DxD Hub Establish POCT Centre to Drive Global Health Innovation in Infectious Diseases, Fertility Health and Chronic Diseases Diagnostics

Singapore – CorDx, a global leader in the development, manufacturing, and distribution of point-of-care-testing (POCT) diagnostics and other medical devices, and Diagnostics Development Hub (DxD Hub), a national platform hosted by Singapore’s Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR), are pleased to announce a strategic collaboration to establish the DxD Hub – CorDx POCT Centre at Biopolis, Singapore. The Joint Laboratory is dedicated to advancing next-generation diagnostics in three critical areas of global health: infectious diseases, fertility health, and chronic diseases.

The new POCT Centre brings together CorDx’s global commercial networks and vertically integrated manufacturing capabilities with DxD Hub’s deep expertise in diagnostic productization and translational R&D. Anchored in Singapore’s vibrant innovation ecosystem, the collaboration is designed to accelerate the co-creation of regionally relevant solutions, driving faster speed-to-market and amplifying global impact.

The establishment of the Centre comes at a critical moment, as point-of-care tests continues to reshape healthcare delivery worldwide. By enabling rapid, decentralised, and patient-centric diagnostics, POCT has the potential; to improve early detection, strengthen disease management and expand access to timely care.

Focusing on high-burden disease areas, including infectious diseases, fertility health, and chronic diseases, the POCT Centre aims to deliver breakthrough innovations that will address urgent healthcare needs and transform diagnostic access across diverse care settings.
