About A*STAR ISCE²
Creating a Cleaner, Greener and More Sustainable Future
The A*STAR Institute of Sustainability for Chemicals, Energy and Environment (A*STAR ISCE², pronounced “Easy Square”) was established in March 2022 to advance R&D in areas such as low-carbon technologies, carbon life cycle assessment, sustainable materials and green manufacturing processes using the latest digitalisation and automation tools.
A*STAR ISCE² partners academia, public agencies and industry to support Singapore's climate goals, including the Singapore Green Plan and Zero Waste Masterplan, while helping the energy, chemicals and pharmaceutical sectors become more sustainable.
