NMC underwent the first peer-review by expert metrologist from NMIJ, Dr Nozato, in linear vibration calibration and measurement capabilities (CMCs) from 26 to 28 September 2016. The peer-review was conducted to meet the requirements under the framework of the global Mutual Recognition Arrangement (MRA) on measurement for international recognition of CMCs. The review team comprised Dr Hideaki Nozato of the National Metrology Institute of Japan (NMIJ) who was the technical assessor, and Mr Addison Bain of Singapore Accreditation Council (SAC), the lead assessor who also reviewed NMC’s quality system. The team completed the review of more than 60 CMCs in linear vibration.
